In 2022, Knowle Farm decided it was time to home some sheep again - after over a decade of being 'sheep less'. We started with a flock of just six Herdwicks. These sheep hold a special place in our hearts due to their smiling faces! Badger Face sheep and Exmoor Horn sheep followed shortly.
Badger FaceThere are two types of Welsh Mountain Badger Face sheep, the Torwen and Torddu. At Knowle Farm we keep Torrdu.

HerdwickHerdwicks are renowned for being the hardiest breed of UK sheep and although Cumbria is their main home, there are plenty spread throughout the UK.

Exmoor HornExmoor Horn have impressive horns, a tight and high quality wool and tender and sweet meat.
