Hannah Maggs is a 'hobby' potter, producing hand-built, functional ceramics, each a 'one off'. These items are inspired by the countryside and nature surrounding Wooscombe Fields farm, featuring Scraffito drawings and a tasteful range of glazes. Hannah produces a range of functional items: e.g. mugs/plates as well as pieces to complement the farm's yarn - yarn bowls, stitch markers and buttons.

Yarn, Sliver & Sheepskin Rugs
We shear a lot of different sheep here on the farm and by contract across Somerset, Devon & Dorset. In doing so we come across all manner of sheep breeds and wool types.
Currently we have a variety of Sheep (and Alpaca) yarn available.
All of our processed fleeces are washed, carded and spun at Rampisham Mill in Dorset. Each Skein tells a story and the provenance can be traced right back to the sheep it came from.

We are a small scale, ethical, low mileage, sustainable yarn producer. This badger faced yarn is just one example of our 100% natural, plastic-free yarn with it's soft shade of beige with brown flecks within. It all begins with our Raw Fleece
As our 2025 shearing season draws to a close we have a variety of different fleeces available These fleeces are hand picked as the best of the best from our flocks of Badger Face and Exmoor Horn ewes along with fleeces from some of the wonderful small flocks across the southwest we're lucky enough to shear . The diverse collection of fleece we have available offers opportunities for spinners, weavers and crafters alike and from only £4 per KG.

Fleece has so many other uses from Insulation to weed barriers, hanging basket liners, insulation for pots to gateway rugs. Just to name a few. We're doing all we can to promote its use wherever possible!
